Why I decided to become a Savvi Independent Stylist

Some of you may be wondering why I decided to take on something else in my life. While I am currently trying to balance EVERYTHING in my life, why take on something else? Read on if you would like to know....

Right now I am currently the assistant store manager at the L.L.Bean in Bangor, Maine. I am currently aspiring to become the next store manager and will be interviewing this coming Tuesday. Please send your positive vibes my way! In addition to that, I am also studying to become a real estate agent. My goal is to begin practicing real estate with Better Homes and Gardens in a part time capacity in January 2020. Some people have told me that to be lucrative in the real estate business, one must practice this profession full time. But I have to start somewhere. So here I am, starting. I am also the founder of an online company called The Maine Square. You may have heard of it. I sell handmade preppy New England style accessories. Some are made by myself, and my creative independent contractor, other items are made by a variety of makers who live in the USA and someday from all over the world. You would think that I have enough on my plate, however when my neighbor messaged me about Savvi, for some reason I stopped and read every word she had to say.

Savvi is in its startup phase. Being an entrepreneur myself, I feel for anyone in a startup position. I think it is so exciting to be part of something that is small, to see it grow into something huge and amazing for everyone to enjoy! Plus, if you know me, you know how passionate I am about women's fashion and how it can affect how they feel about themselves. I would say that the number one reason why I decided to come on board with Savvi is because I LOVE helping women find clothes that they enjoy wearing and feel good in. Because if you FEEL good that means you become more confident which will allow you to gain the potential to reach your goals. Whether your goal is to be a stay at home mom, to volunteer more, to become your own boss, or to create your own company, YOU deserve to look great and feel great and I truly believe that clothing can do this for you! I am also passionate about answering questions and solving problems and I WANT to be there for my clients/customers. I am here for you always!

Before I dove into becoming a brand ambassador/stylist for Savvi, I really thought about it. My biggest concern was around sustainability, sourcing, and ethical practices. As it turns out those are Savvi's biggest biggest priorities. In the 5 minute video below, Savvi's lead designer Rachel Domingo really explains it all.

I have two things to ask of you:

1. I ask that you be patient with me. Savvi is still learning and working through technology, systems, and inventory levels, therefore so am I. Fortunately I am the type of person who LOVES a challenge and will do anything to assist you in finding answers to all of your questions.

2. Take a chance on me and my belief in Savvi. I truly believe in this company and where they are headed. I feel it in my heart and in my soul. This little company is growing every single day because people like you are taking a chance on people like me.
